Two gifted young musicians, violinist Kaito Stohr and violist Kielor Tung, now students at Swarthmore College, will join veteran cellist Robert Martin, director of the Chamber Music Residency Program, for a performance of trios by Beethoven and Gideon Klein and other works. Gideon Klein was a Czech composer and pianist who was imprisoned in 1940 first at Theresienstadt and then at Auschwitz. He wrote his String Trio at age 25, a few weeks before he was murdered by the Nazis.
