Convergence - A Mixed Media Art Market

Contemporary artist, Yvan Sagamba, was born and raised in Rwanda. His obsession with art began at an

early age in primary school, and later became a passion. Sagamba was fortunate enough to be admitted

to an art school in high school. He graduated in 2018 with a focus in Graphic Arts, and has been making

art as a career and a profession ever since. Sagamba’s work falls across multiple mediums, and touches

various concepts and themes relevant to his own experiences. In 2023, Sagamba came to Camphill

Village Kimberton Hills which he feels has been a great experience on both a personal level, and for his

creativity.

Karen Izzi is a Philly Burbs native and has been making art, writing, sewing, and cooking since she

was about six years old. She was also active in our community as a volunteer when still residing in PA.

Karen is a metaphysician, gardener, mixed media artist, educator, potter, poet and journalist. As an art

therapist, she founded Conscious Creations Art Studio in 2012, on a mission to promote art as a

therapeutic tool as well as to support and promote other artists and writers. As an on-going student of

meditation and a Certified Zentangle Teacher, her pen-to-paper meditation, she encourages everyone to

live to their fullest potential, every single day. She lives and loves Surprise, Arizona.
