CVKH board member Chris Barron Headlines at the YII in Vancouver

As we know from past Camphill Kimberton events, long-time board member Chris Barron has a deep baritone voice and an appealing “Frank Sinatra” delivery of famous songs and ballads.

Barron was, until he retired in 2023, Vice President and Chief Communications Officer of Bentley Systems, Inc., a global infrastructure engineering software company.  Bentley Systems has invited Chris to perform at their event this month (October) in Vancouver, Canada: The Year in Infrastructure and Going Digital Awards.  According to Bentley’s Perspectives, Barron’s performances at past events have become a highly anticipated highlight of their annual conferences, which travel around the world to cities like Amsterdam, London, and Singapore. The Perspectives article is entitled “From Sinatra Swagger to Infrastructure Fever: How Chris Barron and his Resonant Bass bridged Entertainment and Engineering”.

An exemplary board member, Chris has asked that instead of paying him, Bentley Systems, Inc. make a contribution to Camphill Village Kimberton Hills!  Thank you, Chris!
